The Junior Chamber International – Greater Dipag Chapter (Dipolog City), a leadership and entrepreneurship development organization composed of young businessmen and professionals, is celebrating its 24th years of proud service to the community with the holding of the 24th Annual Induction & Turn Over Ceremony on January 23, 2010 at 6:00 pm was held at Tres Marias, Gulayon, Dipolog City with the Theme: “2010: BLAST “Believing & Living up to JCI Activities, Systems and Trainings”.

The Dipolog Chamber of Commerce and Industry elected its new set of officers and directors for the term 2010-2011. Elected as new Chamber President is Michael M. Malacca, owner of Octave Music Lounge and a known civic leader.

Malacca was elected during the annual general membership assembly of Dipolog Chamber held January 15 at Hotel Camila I, Dipolog City. Also elected were Engr. Rolando Soliva (Chevy Centre), executive vice president; Atty. Paulino Gudmalin (Gudmalin Law Office), vice president-external; Joel Benavidez (PNB-Dipolog), vice president-internal; Elena T. Gamalinda (Gamalinda Funeral Homes), secretary; Bobbie Paye (First Valley Bank), treasurer; Ronnie L. Sarceno (Sarceno Accounting & Audit), accountant; Laxman Mansukhani (Metro Shoppers), board director; Rosa R. Edwin Capili and Edgar Bagarinao, both acknowledged business chamber leaders in Dipolog have assumed top positions in the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI). Dec 23, 2009 – The JCI Greater Dipag helped spread the Holiday Cheers with there project called “Santa Claus”. And guess what? It’s Santa who delivered the gift to these lucky kids.
