DDCC guys decided to try out the food and hang-out at a new place in town, it’s Tammy’s Place!  The place offers Spicy and Malay Foods (and yes,It’s Hot! Love it!).

Also as part of our meeting the club decided to post  club photos at Tammy’s Place. Soon! Special mention to Board Bong Eding, this guy owns the place and a photograhy geek (also a DDCC member).

DAPITAN — The Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional Office has acknowledged the recently concluded “Hudyaka ZaNorte” festival as “the best in the Zamboanga Peninsula.”

The declaration came after an overwhelming success of the recently concluded festival, which is also in celebration of the 57th founding anniversary of Zamboanga del Norte.

DOT Regional Director James Elridge Adraincem said: “It’s the big pride of the ZamPen region,” even as he expressed optimism that Hudyaka Festival is the best vehicle for promoting tourism industry in this part of the country.

He said the DOT regional office is now working out to include “Hudyaka” in the infomercials of DOT. Read the rest of this entry »

The Photo Contest was held at the Fantasyland, Gloria de Dapitan. My photos mostly features kids and families, and this is my first try in joining a photo contest.

Got a chance to take some of these photo before the rain came pouring in. Still the competition continues and they are “Dancing in the Rain” so to speak.
