This just in! After almost a month of renovation of the Dipolog’s Pagsalabuk Circle, finally it’s now back and running. Accidentally, when a photographer took this photo a firework came thundering in from a party a block behind. The first time I saw this photo, I thougth it’s just a celebration for the re-launching of the circle back from renovation. But it’s not… It’s undirected, unedited, raw photo from a 350d canon dslr (50mm) – A shot that is so hard to frame!

Dipolog City landmark
Discovering Dipolog City for the first time is a lot like receiving a bottle of the city’s renowned Spanish-style Sardines, but there is actually more to this bustling city bounded by verdant rolling hills and the blue Sulu Sea than what meets the eye.
With rich fishing areas off its shores, Dipolog City is famous for the abundance of its marine resources and nowhere is that God-given blessing more readily apparent than in the Central Market. Located just right off the center of the city’s main street, the market place teems with an endless supply of the day’s catch of shrimps, prawns, crabs, yellowfin tuna, shellfish, clams and oysters. Seasoned participants to this everyday showcase know that reasonable prices are almost always guaranteed. (more…)

A century old Dipolog Cathedral gets a modern touch, makes me feel like I’m in the Vatican or somewhere in Rome. Thanks to those who donated funds for the Make-Over.

Zanorte’s most grandest festival opened with a parade of the officess and different municipalities in their colorful and creative costumes, and floats. After the opening programme a 1o-minute fireworks display lit-up the skies.
Dapitan Experience the traffic they never experience before, took us an hour and a half just to get to the other side of the bridge.
